Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

“Lone Star” battalion maintains readiness during annual training
FORT POLK, La. – Lance Cpl. Joey Swanson, a machine gunner with 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, and native of San Antonio assists with ammunition during a live-fire range here, June 3. Marines took part in numerous live-fire ranges, which culminated in a platoon-sized attack as a part of the unit’s annual training.
