Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

Shock Trauma Platoon Trains in the Desert
A corpsman with Shock Trauma Platoon, 4th Medical Battalion, Marine Forces Reserve, tags a patient with his vitals druing a realistic casualty scenario as part of Integrated Training Exercise 4-14 here, June 9, 2014. The platoon's objective is to recieve all casualties within Marine Air-Ground Task Force 23 to evaluate their injuries for the Forward Resuscitative Surgical Suite where the decision is made to move the patient to a higher echelon of medical care.
