About

Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

FHG commanding general gets promoted

Brig. Gen. Helen G. Pratt (left), commanding general of Force Headquarters Group, repeats the oath of office to Lt. Gen. Richard Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve, during her promotion ceremony at Glenridge Middle School Sept. 5, 2014. Assisting Mills is Sgt. Maj. Michael E. Sprague, sergeant major of FHG.
