Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

United States Marine Corps 239th birthday
Marines from Marine Forces Reserve carry the cake during the cake cutting ceremony in honor of the Marine Corps’ 239th birthday at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, La., Nov. 7, 2014. The ceremony is a tradition in which a piece of cake is passed from the oldest Marine to the youngest Marine, symbolizing the passage of knowledge between generations.
