Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

Marines with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, collect reconnaissance during the live fire company attacks during the 2015 integrated training exercise at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, June 13, 2015. The exercise consisted of a series of combined shooting, fire maneuver and movement in which Marines simulated an encounter and fire suppression against hostile enemies.
