Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

Marine Forces Reserve celebrates Marine Corps Birthday with motivational run

The Marines completed a 3-mile formation run through the neighborhood, after the traditional cake-cutting ceremony in honor of the Marine Corps’ 240th birthday. Since Nov. 10, 1775, the United States Marine Corps has garnered the reputation as the world’s most efficient amphibious fighting force, engaging in combat on battlefronts across the globe since its inception.
