Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

The training, led by Bevan and Law, included identifying different types of ailments and injuries that required first aid, as well as an analysis of the contents in a common first-aid kit and their correct usage. The scouts attended the training as a requirement for earning their First Responder achievement badge.
