Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

John Johnson, a squad leader with Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, calls out to his squad at range 410A at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California on June 26, 2017. The battalion conducted live-fire platoon attacks at the range during Integrated Training Exercise 4-17, which requires battalions and squadrons to integrate together as a cohesive team through shared planning, briefing, rehearsals, execution and debriefing.
