Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

4TH AAB uses capabilities to assist Texas communities
Marines and Sailors with 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve are support flood recovery operations throughout Texas during Hurricane Harvey, Sept. 1, 2017. With approximately 60 Marines and 10 Amphibious Assault Vehicles, the unit has successfully executed 3 civilian medical evacuations, 1-2 civilian rescues, searched 200 homes, and delivered supplies to 300 students stranded at a local university.
