Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

4th MAW CG awards NAM, bids farewell
Maj. John C. Johnson, an avionics officer with 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, addresses fellow Marines after being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with a Gold Star in lieu of 5th award at the Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans, April 11, 2019. Johnson was awarded the medal for lifesaving actions in the Savannah International Airport when he noticed a man with heart attack symptoms and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
