Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

UNITAS 2022
U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Marissa Mayor, a general surgeon with 2nd Medical Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, in support of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force UNITAS LXIII simulates surgery on a Marine while aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) at a surgical training event during exercise UNITAS LXIII in the Atlantic Ocean, Sept. 17, 2022. The training event consisted of Marines patrolling, taking simulated casualties, and simulated lifesaving surgery. UNITAS trains forces to conduct joint maritime operations through the execution of anti-surface, anti-submarine, anti-air, amphibious and electronic warfare operations that enhance warfighting proficiency and increase interoperability among participating navy and marine forces.
