Reserve Marines from 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division participate in Exercise Dynamic Front 19 in Latvia from March 2-9, 2019. Exercise DF19 is a multinational exercise conducted by the U.S. Army in Europe that is designed to improve allied and partner nation ability to deliver long-range fires capabilities. Approximately 3,200 participants from 29 nations are taking part in the live-fire portion of the exercise, which is designed to increase readiness, lethality, and interoperability by integrating joint fires in a multinational environment at both the operational and tactical levels.

2/23 Leaves for UDP
U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Ezequiel Delatorre, a network chief with Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, and a native of Oxnard, California, counts Marines as they board a bus on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, March 11, 2025. The Marines are headed to Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, as part of Unit Deployment Program 25.1. The activation marks the beginning of an intensive training period for 2nd Battalion, 23rd Marines as they provide a total force solution in support of the UDP, aligning Marine Forces Reserve's commitment with Marine Corps strategic objectives.
