Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

 

Marine takes charge, earns Silver Star

MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT, SAN DIEGO -- Lt. Gen. Steven A. Hummer, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, Sgt. Miguelange G. Madrigal, a radio chief with Supporting Arms Liaison Team G, 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, and Sgt. Maj. James E. Booker, sergeant major of MARFORRES and MARFORNORTH, gather inside the Staff Sgt. Allan K. Walker building aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Jan. 31, 2013. The building and shadow box behind them were constructed in honor of Walker, who was killed in Ramadi, Iraq, in 2004.
