Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

 

2nd, 4th CEB and 8th ESB Marines complete first Reserve Sapper Course

Marines with 2nd and 4th Combat Engineer Battalions and 8th Engineer Support Bn. practice setting up a Bangalore torpedo charge aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, July 24, 2013. The Marines used the Bangalore torpedoes to clear paths through wire entanglements by placing several connected tubes of explosives and then taking cover in a bunker during the explosion.
