Annual Training for Religious Ministry Teams
Navy Cmdr. Steve Bartell, deputy force chaplain for Marine Forces Reserve, hosts the MARFORRES annual training for religious ministry teams aboard Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, Feb. 3, 2015. During the four-day annual training, the teams focus on adapting their work to the Marine Corps way of life and increasing their individual operational readiness. Chaplains enhance mission readiness of Marines by creating more resilient personnel and families and strengthening the spiritual wellbeing of individual Marines. (U.S Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
