Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

 

In honor of our brother: Sgt Carson Holmquist laid to rest by family, fellow Marines

First Sgt. Timothy Dennison, the detachment first sergeant for Marine Wing Support Squadron 471, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, presents a folded flag to the son of Sgt. Carson Holmquist, a motor transport maintenance chief with Battery M, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, during his funeral July 25, 2015 in Grantsburg, Wis. Holmquist, along with three other Marines and a Sailor, was killed in an attack at the Naval Operation Support Center and Marine Corps Reserve Center in Chattanooga, Tenn. on July 16, 2015. Marines, family, friends and the community of Grantsburg gathered to honor the memory and sacrifice of Holmquist and his fallen brothers-in-arms.
