Capt. Samuel L. Baumer (second from right), adjutant for Marine Aircraft Group 41, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Forces Reserve, is presented the Mayor’s Military Advisory Committee Community Service award by retired Marine Maj. Baumer was recognized for his outstanding efforts in improving the local community and for setting an excellent example to his fellow Marines.
