Maple Resolve

ABOUT

Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

 

3rd Battalion, 14th Marines Fire M777 Howitzers During Exercise Dynamic Front 19
U.S. Marines with Hotel Battery, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, fire projectiles from a M777 howitzer at Adazi Training Area, Latvia, March 2, 2019, in support of exercise Dynamic Front 19. The M777 is able to deliver up to five rounds a minute under intense firing conditions and is able to provide a sustained rate of fire of two rounds a minute. Approximately 3,200 participants from 27 nations will take part in the live-fire portion of exercise Dynamic Front 19, March 2-9, 2019, at the U.S. Army's Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany; as well as in Riga, Latvia; and Torun, Poland.
