Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

Ismael Renteria, a heavy equipment operator with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, operates a grader during a command post exercise at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 9, 2020. Renteria was refueling the machine prior to parking it for the day. The Marines and Sailors of SPMAGTF-SC use the training opportunity of the CPX to both show their capabilities in a controlled environment and prepare for the upcoming mission. SPMAGTF-SC is poised to conduct crisis response, theater security cooperation, and general engineering training alongside partner nation militaries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
