Marines with MIU and Marine Corps Software Factory develop tools for the modern battlefield

U.S. Marines assigned to the Marine Innovation Unit (MIU) work on the development of software applications at the Marine Corps Software Factory (MCSWF) in Austin, Texas, 17 - 29 March, 2025. MIU Marines are assisting MCSWF in the development and production of software solutions that address critical needs for the Marine Corps. MIU is a Selected Marine Corps Reserve unit headquartered in Newburgh, N.Y. that accelerates the development and adoption of advanced capabilities across the Marine Corps.
