Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

Marines and family members mourn fallen Marine Sgt. Ryan E. Lekosky during his memorial service at Belle Chasse Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, LA, Nov. 3, 2010. Lekosky was killed early Sunday morning Nov. 1, 2010 in the French Quarter after having attended the Marine Corps Birthday Ball.
