Maple Resolve is an annual exercise, 3-week multinational simulated war, hosted by the Canadian Army bringing NATO allies together from across the world to share and learn tactics while strengthening foreign military ties.

Cpl. Adam Waldron, an armorer with Bulk Fuel Co. A, 6th Engineer Support Bn. and native of Phoenix, Ariz., instructs Lance Cpl. Patrick Hayes, of Yuma, Ariz., on the finer points of M240G machine gunnery during Exercise Javelin Thrust. Javelin Thrust is an annual large-scale exercise here which allows active and reserve Marines and sailors from 38 different states to train together as a seamless Marine Air Ground Task Force.
