From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Marine takes charge, earns Silver Star

Madrigal, a native of Bakersfield, Calif., was awarded the nation’s third highest honor for his actions as a member of a squad patrol that was pinned down by insurgent fire.
