From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Samuel Baumer (center), the adjutant for 4th Marine Logistics Group, the Mayor’s Community Service Award at the National World War II Museum, May 17, 2014. Baumer was nominated for the award for his significant contribution to improving the local community in and around New Orleans. In 2013, Baumer supervised 310 Marines during 2,009 hours of community service for more than 40 different events.
