From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Hurricane Preparedness Brief

The Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness is the coordinating public safety agency for the city of New Orleans and is responsible for crisis planning, response and recovery for the City of New Orleans.
