From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Corporal Samuel Rivas, a musician from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, joined members of Marine Corps Band New Orleans to provide Master music classes to students attending the Conservatorio de Musica de Puerto Rico in San Juan on Oct. 18, 2016. The concert series in Puerto Rico showcases the contribution the Marine Corps Reserve has given to the nation for more than 100 years, and helps celebrate the proud history and heritage of the Reserves.
