From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Lt. Gen. McMillian attends 49ers practice

Lieutenant General Rex C. McMillian, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North and Brandon Moreno, the community relations manager for the 49ers, tour the dining facilities for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers and discuss the unique nutritional requirements for athletes at Levi’s Stadium, Nov. 4, 2016. McMillian was invited to observe a 49ers’ practice session in preparation for Sunday’s “Salute to Service” game against the New Orleans Saints at Levi’s Stadium. The half-time show of Sunday’s game will recognize the Marine Forces Reserve Centennial. Today, approximately 500 Reserve Marines are providing fully integrated operational support to Fleet and Combatant Commanders around the world.
