Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Southern Command - 2020

From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Always Faithful: World War II Marine veteran turns 100
A signed copy of the photo of the second flag-raising on Mt. Suribachi hangs in the room of retired 1st Lt. John J. O’Leary, a Marine veteran of World War II, at the Evergreen Community of Johnson County, Olathe, Kan., Dec. 21, 2016.
