Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Southern Command - 2020

From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security. BPT support limited crisis response.

Cpl. Joseph R. On June 13, 2018, Manganaro was on his way to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms to conduct training with his unit at Integrated Training Exercise 4-18, when he provided critical emergency medical care to a passenger aboard an American Airlines flight.
