From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

SPMAGTF-SC’s Marines and Sailors are conducting a variety of pre-deployment training in order to prepare and be equipped as a naval expeditionary force-in-readiness. These training events assist in maintaining a strong and cohesive Navy and Marine Corps team, allowing the Marines and Sailors of the task force to prepare for accessing key maritime terrain, conduct operations at sea and deploy at a moment’s notice.
