From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

The FEX provides the Marines and Sailors the opportunity to stay proficient with their equipment and refine their tactical skill sets. SPMAGTF-SC is poised to conduct crisis response, general engineering training and theater security cooperations alongside partner nation militaries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
