From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Admiral James S. Russell Naval Aviation Flight Safety Award Ceremony

Lt. Gen. Nicholas Kehoe, USAF (ret.), the national commander of the Order of the Daedalians, gives opening remarks during the Admiral James S. Russell Naval Aviation Flight Safety Award ceremony on Nov. 13, 2020 at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans. Pilots with 4th MAW flew more than 20,000 hours with no Class A flight-related or aviation-ground mishaps, which placed it at the top of other competitive commands.
