From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

Highly Decorated Vietnam Era Marine Honored, Mourned, Laid to Rest in Arizona

David Althoff (retired), at the Worship and Praise Church Chandler Arizona, Mar. 19, 2022. Althoff served as a pilot in the Vietnam War and completed over 1,000 combat missions. He is credited with saving hundreds of Marines who were critically wounded in battle and the recipient of three Silver Stars, three Distinguished Flying Crosses, one Bronze Star, one Meritorious Service Medal and 55 Air Medals.
