Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Southern Command - 2020

From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security. BPT support limited crisis response.

Reserve Marine Capt. Justin Martell (front, left), the battalion judge advocate for 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, makes his way to the courthouse on a joint foot patrol Feb. 5, 2009. In his civilian career Martell is an attorney with the U.S. Office of Special Counsel in Washington, D.C.
