Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Southern Command - 2020

From Jun to Dec 2020, SPMAGTF-SC 20, in coordination with Partner Nations and US Government entities, forward deploys to execute opportune maritime engagements, theater security cooperation, and foreign humanitarian assistance in the SOUTHCOM AOR to increase interoperability between U.S. and select partner naval forces, build a more lethal force, and increase PN ability to export security.  BPT support limited crisis response.

CARAT is an annual series of bi-lateral maritime training exercises between the United States and Southeast Asian nations. Several reserve officers had the opportunity to lead more than two hundred reservists from the 24th Marine Regiment during the entire four-month exercise on temporary mobilization orders.
