ABOUT 

Heavy Equipment Operators and other Engineer support Marines will work with repair and maintain the Camp Carter camping site, which is owned and operated by the local YMCA chapter. Both MAW and MLG units are supporting with separate rotations.

Marines with 2nd and 4th Combat Engineer Battalions and 8th Engineer Support Bn. connect TNT wires using “the British Junction” knot during a demolition range aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, July 23, 2`013. The Marines were required to create each type of charge they were going to ignite, to include doughnut, oval, concrete, det-linear, uli-knot slider, fence, window and water charges.
