ABOUT 

Heavy Equipment Operators and other Engineer support Marines will work with repair and maintain the Camp Carter camping site, which is owned and operated by the local YMCA chapter. Both MAW and MLG units are supporting with separate rotations.

Family members accepted the medals on behalf of the Marines, during the National Montford Point Marine Association’s 49th Annual National Convention. Montford Point Marines as well as active duty and Reserve Marines will attend different seminars during the conference to help educate and redirect the efforts of the association.
