Brytani Musick, public affairs noncommissioned officer-in-charge for Marine Forces Reserve, slices the cake at the New Orleans Chef’s Salute to Our Armed Forces hosted by the Navy League at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, June 11, 2015, where she was recognized as Marine of the Year. For five years, chefs around New Orleans have shown support for America’s military by serving their specialty entrees to veterans free of charge, and by recognizing the enlisted service members of the year for each respective branch of the U.S. armed forces.
