ABOUT 

Heavy Equipment Operators and other Engineer support Marines will work with repair and maintain the Camp Carter camping site, which is owned and operated by the local YMCA chapter. Both MAW and MLG units are supporting with separate rotations.

The high-altitude, high-opening (HAHO) parachute insertion method allows Marines to covertly insert themselves onto the battlefield to conduct reconnaissance, acting as the eyes and ears for the commander. Soldiers with 3-238th provided a Chinook for U.S. Reconnaissance Marines with Echo Company, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, doing static-line jumps.
