Heavy Equipment Operators and other Engineer support Marines will work with repair and maintain the Camp Carter camping site, which is owned and operated by the local YMCA chapter. Both MAW and MLG units are supporting with separate rotations.

Deployment Processing Command Reserve Support Unit-East Change of Command Ceremony

Freire, commanding officer of Deployment Processing Command (DPC) Reserve Support Unit (RSU)-East, gives a speech during a change of command ceremony on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, July 15, 2022. During the ceremony, Freire assumed command of DPC/RSU-East from Col. Brian R. Miller. DPC/RSU-East is a critical enabler to get Reserve Marines and units deployed by providing support to non-mobilized Reserve Component unit training, conducting Individual Augment deployment/redeployment processing, and supporting activated Reserve units/detachments while aboard Camp Lejeune in order to support total force integration during mobilization.
