ABOUT 

Heavy Equipment Operators and other Engineer support Marines will work with repair and maintain the Camp Carter camping site, which is owned and operated by the local YMCA chapter. Both MAW and MLG units are supporting with separate rotations.

Marine Innovation Unit Town Hall with Force Headquarters Group Leadership

U.S. Marines assigned to the Marine Innovation Unit listen to remarks from Brig. Gen. David K. Winnacker, commanding general, and Sergeant Major Russell D. Boley, command senior enlisted leader, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, during a town hall meeting in White Plains, New York, Nov. 20, 2025. During the town hall, Winnacker and Sergeant Major Boley delivered remarks and answered questions from the Marine Innovation Unit. Established in 2022, the Marine Innovation Unit leverages the talent of the Marine Corps Reserve to accelerate the adoption of advanced capabilities, transform Naval Service capacity for technology employment, and retain and invest in Total Force human capital.
