Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Maj. Gen. Tracy L. Garrett, the commanding general of Force Headquarters Group, passes the Marine Corps colors to Brig. Gen. Paul. K. Lebidine, the former chief-of-staff for force command element, Javelin Thrust, here, Aug. 6. The passing of the colors is symbolic of the change of command. During the ceremony, FHG was formally recognized as a new major subordinate command of Marine Forces Reserve.
