Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Volunteer Marines for the Homes for Wounded Warriors Program helped remove shingles during a house-building project for wounded Marine Sgt. Jesse James on July 26th, 2012. The reserve Marines, based out of Peru, Ind., joined Habitat for Humanity and the Homes for Wounded Warriors Program to help build James a household prior to his return from military service.
