Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Brig. Gen. Paul K. Lebidine, commanding general of Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, briefs Gen. Frank Grass, chief of the National Guard Bureau, on the importance of Individual Ready Reserve mega-musters and how the Marine Corps conducts them, March 9. The Marine Corps is currently the only branch that holds IRR, multi-regional mega-musters where information on health, education, and employment is provided.
