ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Remembering times gone by: Marines visit veteran’s home

Marine Forces Reserve Marines and sailors pose with retired sailor Daniel Becnel at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans’ Home March 28, 2013. The home houses veterans from all military branches, providing medical care and for some, a place to meet with younger generations of service members and to remember their past service.
