Keep America Free
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bryan Sherlock, Marine Corps Band New Orleans’ band officer, displays the original score of “Keep America Free,” by Amelie Prados Cressend, World War II veteran, just before performing the new, updated, rearranged and expanded version for her, her family and friends at Marine Corps Support Facility band hall, May 6th. Retired Marine Corps musician, Former Staff Sgt. Jake Johnson, and Marine Corps Band New Orleans worked together to bring Cressend’s dream and musical vision to life by harmonizing and rearranging her original score, and adapting the song into their official repertoire.
