Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Lt. Gen. Richard P. Mills, commander of Marine Forces Reserve and Marine Forces North, laughs with St. John the Baptist Parish president Natalie Robottom during a ceremony at the Southeastern Louisiana War Veterans Home in LaPlace, La., Nov. 11. Mills spoke to veterans and community members at the St. John the Baptist Parish Young Marines chapter organized ceremony . The intent was to honor the service members that stood to protect the United States throughout generations of war and conflicts.
