Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Athletes and warriors come out for NBA All-Star Weekend
ALGIERS, La. – Volunteers with NBA Cares pose in front of a renovated house, Feb. 14, 2014. NBA Cares, a community-outreach initiative that focuses on community development, education and health, hosted an All-Star Day of Service that was staffed by volunteers from local areas, visitors from across the country and service members from all five branches of the U.S. military, as well as current and former NBA athletes.
