Reserve Marine donates cherry blossom trees to Quantico museum
Lt. Col. Eric Terashima, the assistant chief of staff for operations and future operations with Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, donated 72 cherry blossom trees to the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, Va., from October through December 2013. Earlier that year, when Terashima and his father visited the museum, Terashima made the decision to donate the trees to the museum to commemorate the Marine Corps' history with the Japanese people.
