Innovative Readiness Training Kodiak Care - 21

ABOUT 

The United States Department of Defense Arctic Care Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) Program in partnership, with the Kodiak Area Native Association, will present “Arctic Care 2021”, a no-cost medical, dental, optometry and veterinary services program to the communities on Kodiak Island from May 5-13, 2021.  Arctic Care provides training opportunities to military units while providing incidental benefit to communities via no-cost healthcare.  The healthcare services will be tailored to the individual needs of each rural community.

Master Chief of Religious Program Specialists visits Sailors for RP birthday celebration
Master Chief Petty Officer Dino Medler (left), the 13th senior enlisted leader for the religious program specialist rating, cuts the Religion Program Specialist birthday cake with the youngest Sailor present, Religious Program Specialist 3rd Class OJ Barrera, on Jan. 14, 2014 at Marine Corps Support Facility New Orleans. Medler visited with Sailors at Marine Forces Reserve and Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the creation of the religious program specialist rating, which was created Jan. 15, 1979. The religious program specialists at Marine Forces Reserve provide support to Navy chaplains in developing programs to meet the needs of Sailors and Marines throughout the Reserve Force.
